HP705 is a porous chelating resin featuring nanoscale pores (2–10 nm) and surface-functionalized with aminophosphonic acid groups, thiourea groups, and other specialized ligands. Designed for deep impurity purification in energy metal (Li, Co, Ni) hydrometallurgy feedstocks, it prioritizes the selective capture of high-valence heavy metals like UO₂²⁺ and Pb²⁺ through soft-hard acid-base theory.

Leveraging nanochannel confinement effects, HP705 achieves exceptional performance in complex matrices, including strong acid environments (pH 1–4). Its robust structure ensures long-term stability and recyclability, making it ideal for direct treatment of sulfate-based cobalt/nickel leachates.
