Continuous Chromatography

Continuous chromatography separation equipment utilizes the difference in the partition coefficients of different substances in the mobile phase and stationary phase. By controlling the elution speed of the mobile phase, different components achieve different retention times in the chromatographic column, thus continuously separating the target substances.

Traditional chromatography separation techniques use a fixed chromatography column. A certain amount of material is first introduced, and then an eluent is continuously eluted. Different product components can be collected at the same outlet at different time periods. This process is time-consuming and laborious. After analysis and improvement, we made the stationary phase resin into a continuously flowing system, utilizing the different relative movement speeds of the substance and the stationary phase to achieve separation.

Similar to the principle of the tortoise and the hare race, we make the stationary phase into a conveyor belt. The hare and tortoise represent two components with different speeds. By applying a driving force to the stationary phase in the opposite direction of elution, making the conveyor belt speed fall between the speeds of the hare and the tortoise, the faster hare is obtained from the front, and the slower tortoise is obtained from the back.
