KFN340——Radioactive Anion Removal Resin

KFN340 is an OH⁻-type anion resin with a crosslinking degree of approximately 4%. This resin, after high-precision post-treatment and efficient regeneration, ensures the minimum equilibrium leakage(minimal ionic leakage) of ions during use. It also features (exhibs) excellent kinetic properties, extremely high exchange capacity, and superior anti-permeation strength(osmotic resistance), making it highly suitable for removing anions(particularly effective for removing anionic contaminants)-including boric acid(including borate ions) and radioactive elements(radionuclides), from aqueous solutions.


Application Effect

KFN340 is a high-purity nuclear-grade anion resin, typically mixed with nuclear-grade cation resin, used in nuclear industrial water treatment systems for the treatment of cooling water, steam condensate, spent fuel pool water, and radioactive wastewater. It offers high treatment efficiency and excellent effluent quality.


Application Scenarios

This resin is used in(specially designed for) nuclear industrial systems to treat water containing radioactive substances in water treatment and loop systems(primary/secondary circuits). The transformation rate of the anion exchange resin to the OH⁻ form is required to be >95%, the residual chloride ion content on the anion exchange resin<0.1%, and the content of organic eluents and residual metal ions must be extremely low (<0.1%) to ensure that the treated water quality meets the requirements for use and to prevent corrosion of equipment and pipelines.
