HPL900——Titanium-Based Lithium Adsorbent (Salt Lake Brine/Precipitated Lithium Mother Liquor)

The HPL900 series products are the latest generation (second generation) of high-capacity, highly selective titanium-based lithium adsorption independently developed by Jiangsu Haipu Functional Materials Co., Ltd. As a leading lithium adsorbent supplier, Haipu leverages its DLE technology to enable lithium extraction from geothermal brine, lithium extraction from brine, lithium extraction from water, and lithium extraction from brine. Through the precise construction of lithium-ion specific recognition spots and active nanocrystalline composite structure, the adsorbent exhibits highly efficient lithium ion adsorption performance (adsorption capacity >6.0 g Li/L) and a “structure memory” effect, allowing targeted capture of lithium ions even under high interference ion concentrations. Even if the lithium ion concentration in the feed solution is only 100 mg/L, it can be enriched to more than 1400 mg/L after a single adsorption cycle.

(1) Enhanced Salt lake lithium extraction with Nanoscale pore Technology for Low-Temperature Performance

The new generation of nanoscale powder pore-making process optimizes the adsorption kinetics for Extracting Lithium From Water, ensuring abundant nanopore channels and active nanocrystalline grains inside, which substantially increases the lithium diffusion rate. While improving the adsorption capacity, it reduces the influence of temperature on adsorption efficiency, so that the material is still able to maintain excellent performance in a low-temperature environment, and the adsorption rate can still be maintained at a high level even under the condition of temperature reduction.

(2) Advanced Lithium Recovery from Oilfield, Geothermal & Salt Lake Brines via Structural Memory

The adsorption site has a memory effect on lithium ions, ensuring high selectivity for extracting lithium from salt lake, lithium extraction from geothermal brine and spodumene, even when alkali metal ions or alkaline earth metal ions are 100 times or 1,000 times the lithium ion content in the brine or lithium-containing material of the salt lake. It maintains high-efficiency separation of sodium, magnesium, and other impurity ions. Through an adsorption for lithium extraction separation, can reach the de-attached liquid lithium-sodium ratio of more than 2, other impurity ions such as magnesium, potassium, etc. can reach a lower level.

(3) Robust Spherical Adsorbent for High-Stability Lithium Extraction from Salt lake and  geothermal brine

Spherical granulation with good hydraulic flow pattern. At the same time add polymer to make it good anti-scouring performance, stable physical and chemical properties, to ensure that the adsorbent has excellent mechanical strength and toughness, adsorbent breakage rate is low, acid resistance is strong, the annual performance decline rate is less than 10%. It is not easy to plate, clogging and so on, thus effectively avoiding frequent shutdowns for backwashing operations to ensure high yield for salt lake lithium extraction.

(4) The Direct Lithium Extraction process is green and environmentally friendly

Only lithium ions in the material liquid are extracted during adsorption, and no other chemical elements are introduced into the material liquid after adsorption, which can be directly discharged back to the salt lake or into the next section; only 1% or lower concentration of acid is used during desorption, which is safe and energy-saving.

It is particularly suitable for Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) from alkaline materials (pH>8), such as carbonate brine, lithium precipitation mother liquor and other lithium-containing materials. Fast adsorption rate, high adsorption capacity, high selectivity, excellent low-temperature resistance, annual dissolution loss rate<10%.

Saturated adsorption capacity of 14g/L, recovery rate of more than 90% of the working adsorption capacity of 2-10g / L, desorption of qualified liquid lithium ion concentration can be enriched to more than 5g / L, lithium ions and the main impurity ions (sodium \ magnesium) more than 1 mass ratio, ideal for extracting lithium from salt lake, geothermal brine and spodumene.
