HP4010——Calcium/Magnesium Removal Resin

HP4010 high efficiency calcium and magnesium adsorbent is a kind of polymer adsorbent material developed based on special chelating functionalization modification technology. Through the surface oriented grafting of high-density chelating groups and nano-pore structure synergistic design, it realizes the efficient selective capture and removal of calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) ions. With multi-stage pore structure optimization and uniform cross-linking network, the product combines fast adsorption kinetics and industrial grade stability, and is designed for the deep softening and upgrading of industrial wastewater (e.g., electronic plating wastewater, reverse osmosis concentrated water, circulating cooling water, etc.) with high conductivity and large flow rate.


Products Advantages

Efficient adsorption kinetic performance: nanopore channels and surface chelating groups work synergistically to increase the hydraulic diffusion coefficient by more than 50%, which can realize rapid adsorption of calcium and magnesium ions under high flow rate (>20 BV/h) (the saturation adsorption time is shortened to 1/3 of that of the traditional resins), and significantly improve the processing efficiency per unit of time.

Targeted chelating selectivity and high capacity: specific chelating groups (e.g. aminophosphoric acid group, carboxylic acid group) have strong coordination ability for calcium and magnesium ions, with a dynamic adsorption capacity of >2.5 mmol/g, and maintains more than 90% selectivity even when the concentration of Na⁺/K⁺ is higher than 100 times of the target ions, which is applicable to the treatment of complex ionic background wastewater. Super-stable mechanical and chemical resistance.

Ultra-stable mechanical and chemical resistance: The three-dimensional cross-linked polymer skeleton gives the material high mechanical strength (compressive strength >18 MPa) and acid and alkali corrosion resistance (pH 1-12), and it can withstand high salinity (TDS>50,000 mg/L) and hydraulic shock, with a service life of more than 500 cycles.

Low-consumption regeneration and long-lasting economy: low-pressure water washing desorption process, without acid and alkali regeneration agent, desorption efficiency >98%, reducing the comprehensive operating costs by 40%. The adsorption capacity decay rate is<5% after repeated use, which is suitable for the continuous operation of 10,000-ton water treatment system.
