Highly selective fluoride removal adsorbent HPF3500 is a kind of porous polymer. The fluoride ion is pre-enriched by the surface groups of the polymer material, and then fluoride is removed by the special fluoride removal groups inside the polymer. HPF3500 is an efficient, stable and economical fluoride ion adsorbent, applicable to a variety of industries for water treatment.
1. Special high-efficiency adsorbent composition: The matrix is “polyvinylpyridine” and the adsorbent surface is modified with coordination exchange functional groups “— R(OH)n”
2. Mechanism of fluoride removal:
- R (OH) + F- - RF + (OH)-
The surface of the adsorbent is electrically neutral, the mechanism is ligand exchange, not ion exchange.
The principle of ion exchange is the following:
- R+(OH)- + F- - R+ F- + OH-
Ligand exchange is more effective than ion exchange and has a higher exchange capacity for fluorine.
① High adsorption selectivity and precision: high adsorption selectivity for fluoride ions, little interference from other coexisting anions, the concentration of fluoride ions in the effluent water after adsorption can be lower than 1mg/L, and can even be reduced to below 0.2mg/L according to special requirements.
② Excellent pore structure and specific surface area: excellent pore structure, high specific surface area and pore capacity, good hydraulic diffusion performance, large exchange capacity.
③Good treatment effect: stable effluent, low operation cost, fast adsorption rate and high activity.
④No introduction of impurities: no introduction of Al3+ ion impurities, ensuring the purity of adsorbent.
⑤ High mechanical strength and good stability: the adsorbent has high mechanical strength and good stability.
The saturated adsorption amount of fluoride ion is ≥ 20 g/L (adsorbent), and the minimum amount of fluoride ion in the effluent after adsorption is less than 0.5 mg/L.
