Project situation and problems:
The citric acid wastewater generated by the homogeneous metal catalyst cleaning in the production process of the SEPS project of Zhejiang Rubber Enterprise contains Co, Al, and Li metal ions. The metal ions need to be removed and recycled, and the purified citric acid will be returned to the front end for continued use.
Treatment process and advantages:
This project adopts the HP606 two-stage adsorption treatment process. The original liquid contains Co <1104mg/L, Al <762mg/L, and Li <1692mg/L. The metal ion content of the treated and purified citric acid liquid meets Co <1mg/L, Al <10mg/L, and Li <300mg/L. The citric acid is returned to the production process section for continued use, solving environmental protection problems while realizing resource recycling. The metal ion adsorption amount can reach 10g/L, the operation cycle is long, and the desorption regeneration liquid contains a large amount of metal ions, which can be settled and recycled.
