Agrochemical Industry Wastewater Fluorine Removal Project in Shandong

Project situation and issues:

The customer's business is in the agrochemical industry, after biochemical treatment of wastewater produced from fluroxypyr production and a small amount of domestic wastewater, the residual fluoride ions content in the effluent of the secondary sedimentation tank ≤ 40mg/L. The customer needs to further remove fluoride from the wastewater until the fluoride content is less than 1mg/L and meets the standard for discharge.

Treatment process and advantages:

This project adopts HP3500 adsorption treatment process, with a fluoride content of~40mg/L in the raw water. After adsorption treatment, the effluent is stable with fluoride content at less than 1mg/L. The system has been running continuously and stably for more than 3 years, and the deep defluorination of wastewater meets the discharge standards. The customer is quite satisfied with the project. The system has a high degree of automation, a long adsorption operation cycle, low operating costs, and a small footprint. Directly using ion exchange technology for low fluoride content wastewater has significant advantages.
