Project Status
The zero discharge treatment system for coal chemical wastewater requires the addition of a large amount of active fillers every year to adsorb recalcitrant COD in water. This causes high cost and severe membrane fouling and blockage at the back end, which could shorten lifespan of the menbranes. By adding resin adsorption technology, COD is reduced from 180mg/L to below 30mg/L, and the effluent is colorless, clear, and transparent. This project has a large adsorption capacity and low operating costs. Water production rate of the back-end membrane has been improved by replacing active fillers.
