Strong acid is widely used as a cleaning agent, corrosive agent, or catalyst in industries such as metallurgy, machinery, and chemical engineering. When impurities in the acid reach a certain concentration, it cannot be used in production and becomes waste acid.


Waste acid has the problem of wide sources and scattered industries, and many chemical products often produce waste acid during production.

The principle is that the acid separation material has the ability to adsorb strong acids and discharge metal salts from the acid. During the adsorption process, the waste acid containing metal salts (such as iron, zinc, nickel, etc.) passes through the acid separation column. The free acid in the waste acid adheres to the acid separation material bed, and the metal salts are directly discharged. During the desorption process, pure water is introduced to wash away the free acid attached to the adsorption material, forming a recovered acid.


At the same time, the adsorbent material can be re adsorbed, and this cycle repeats itself to complete the separation of acid and metal salts, achieving the purification and recovery of waste acid.


The advantages of low bed adsorption technology are also very obvious


The waste acid is treated by an acid separation column, and the effluent is a low acid and high salt residual solution. The acid separation column uses soft water to desorb and form recycled acid, which contains a large amount of dissolved metal ions. It can be returned to the neutralization and sedimentation tank for treatment. The recycled acid is collected in the recycling acid tank and added to the acid washing tank in proportion with the concentrated acid, and reused for acid washing.
