''TechConnect Nanjing University'' Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Matchmaking Conference Successfully Held, Haipu Joins Hands with Nanjing University School of Environment

To promote Suzhou’s technological innovation policies, deeply explore university scientific and technological talent resources, facilitate substantial matchmaking results, and advance comprehensive industry-academia-research cooperation between universities, local governments, and enterprises, the “TechConnect Nanjing University” Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Matchmaking Conference, organized by the Suzhou Talent Office and Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau, and hosted by the Suzhou Productivity Promotion Center and Suzhou Science and Technology Town Mayor Service Center, was successfully held at Nanjing University on September 20.

More than 40 experts and scholars from Nanjing University engaged in extensive exchanges and interactions with over 70 entrepreneurs from Suzhou, effectively addressing the key technological and high-end talent needs of Suzhou enterprises.

At the conference, Gao Xinfang, Director of the Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Achievement Transformation Office of Nanjing University, shared experiences on how Nanjing University can promote cooperation in scientific and technological talent and the integration of industry, academia, and research with Suzhou enterprises.

Suzhou has always placed great emphasis on the integration of industry, academia, and research, maintaining regular close cooperation with over 200 universities and research institutes both domestically and internationally. The cooperation with Nanjing University has a long history.

This includes the joint establishment of the Nanjing University Suzhou High-Tech Research Institute, Nanjing University Kunshan Innovation Research Institute, and Nanjing University Changshu Ecological Research Institute, all of which have provided strong support for Suzhou’s innovative development and transformation and upgrading.

On the same day, a promotional meeting for Suzhou’s innovation and entrepreneurship environment was also held. At the meeting, Jiangsu Haipu Functional Materials Co., Ltd. signed a university-enterprise cooperation agreement with the Nanjing University School of Environment.

Taking this event as an opportunity, the cooperation between universities, local governments, and enterprises will be further deepened, expanding the scope of cooperation, achieving platform co-construction, information sharing, and resource sharing among local governments, enterprises, and universities and research institutes, providing stronger technical support and intellectual supply for Suzhou’s industrial transformation and innovative development.
