1. Current situation of treatment of methyl ortho aminobenzoate wastewater

In the production process of methyl ortho aminobenzoate, due to the involvement of multiple raw materials, long production processes, and multiple side reactions, a large amount of organic wastewater with complex components, high concentration, and high color is generated during the production process, and most of them are difficult to biodegrade substances (methyl ortho aminobenzoate, ortho aminobenzoic acid, methanol, ortho chlorobenzoate), which brings difficulties to wastewater treatment.


The existing treatment of methyl ortho aminobenzoate wastewater usually adopts the traditional physicochemical biochemical combination treatment process. Although it can also meet the discharge requirements through enhanced treatment, the process cycle is long, the dosage of chemicals is high, and the operating cost is high, which is difficult for general production enterprises to afford. At the same time, this treatment process only focuses on the effectiveness of treatment, while neglecting the recovery of useful substances in wastewater, especially ortho aminobenzoic acid, which fails to be utilized reasonably and results in resource waste.


Resin adsorption method is currently recognized as an effective wastewater treatment and resource utilization technology, with styrene based adsorption resin being widely used. However, due to the strong polar groups of carboxyl and amino groups in methyl ortho aminobenzoate, this type of resin has weak adsorption capacity and low adsorption capacity for ortho aminobenzoic acid.

The principle of the Haipu adsorption process is to use the special adsorption materials developed by our company to selectively adsorb the components or substances to be removed. When the adsorption is saturated, a specific desorption agent is used to desorb the adsorption material, allowing it to be regenerated. This process is continuously repeated.
