1. Current situation of treatment of ortho aminobenzoic acid wastewater

In recent years, the rapid development of the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, and printing and dyeing industries has brought serious environmental problems. The large-scale discharge of wastewater containing high concentrations of water-soluble aromatic compounds, especially aromatic amphoteric compounds such as o-Aminobenzoic acid, has caused widespread river water pollution. o-Aminobenzoic acid is an important intermediate and raw material for fine chemicals such as dyes, pharmaceuticals, fragrances, and insecticides. Due to its molecular structure containing both Lewis acid and Lewis base functional groups, this type of wastewater has strong toxicity, poor biodegradability, and high water solubility of pollutants.


At present, the treatment methods for ortho aminobenzoic acid wastewater at home and abroad are mostly similar to those for phenolic acid containing wastewater, such as oxidation, biochemistry, extraction, and adsorption. However, due to the complex composition of ortho aminobenzoic acid wastewater, the water treated by traditional processes cannot effectively remove organic pollutants and cannot meet national discharge standards.

The principle of the Haipu adsorption process is to use the special adsorption materials developed by our company to selectively adsorb the components or substances to be removed. When the adsorption is saturated, a specific desorption agent is used to desorb the adsorption material, allowing it to be regenerated. This process is continuously repeated.
